Deepening Your Practice and Creating Community

with Rebecca Wing LCPC

Open to All      On Zoom and In-Person or Weekly Video Recording Access

Six consecutive Tuesdays: Jan. 7, 14, 21, 28, Feb. 4 & 11. 6pm-7:15pm. $90 inclusive.

Rebecca will be offering in-depth teachings from a selected text by a leading teacher and facilitate discussion on how meditation informs, enlivens and brings deeper meaning to life.  For those unable to attend on a Tuesday night, you can register and have direct access to the session recordings.

·  Strengthening the aiming and sustaining of attention

·  Specific teachings on developing positive states that lead to calm and contentment

·  Short weekly reading assignments to facilitate deeper learning and reflection

·  25-minute guided meditations with take home recordings for practice at home

Grief is present when a loss arises that is unexpected and/or beyond our control. Rebecca will lead a day of exploration of the many faces of loss and how we can be with it when it arises. Learn how to experience openness to life despite hardship.

·      The myriad of emotions and their place in the field of loss

·      States of mind that inhibit and block experiencing emotions

·      Exploring heartache and heartbreak with compassionate awareness

·      The skill of “Being With” whatever arises

Women who are on the path of mindfulness are faced with a unique set of challenges. On this day we will explore the fundamentals of how a women’s attention, awareness and focus are affected by our unique brain development. We will discuss, share and unpack how our way of experiencing the world and ourselves can impact daily living and our meditation practice.
