Rebecca will lead meditation, instruction and discussion inspired by the book The End of Your World by Adyashanti. On this day we will cultivate familiarization with specific feeling states that inform 3 fundamental points of experience during meditation:

·      Dropping into states of relaxation.

·      Allowing things to be as they are during sitting and walking meditation.

·      Opening to spacious awareness while exploring the ground of simply being.

Give yourself this day to strengthen your meditation practice in a supportive in-person experience and a beautiful outdoor setting!

Registrants will provide their own lunch. Light snacks and tea will be provided.

Rebecca will be offering in-depth teachings from a selected text by a leading teacher and facilitate discussion on how meditation informs, enlivens and brings deeper meaning to life.  For those unable to attend on a Tuesday night, you can register and have direct access to the session recordings.

In her book Feeding Your Demons, American Buddhist teacher and author Tsultrim Allione offers a specific meditation practice that allows us to face, feel and free emotional and mental fixations that cause us suffering. A “demon” refers to any inner state that hinders our liberation. Rebecca will offer the specifics of this meditation and how it leads us towards resolution of inner conflict.

·      Exploring what restrictive belief presents itself as a restrictive “demon.”

·      Time allowed for quiet reflection on the specifics of fears and beliefs that hold us back.

·      Detailed instruction and guided practice of this powerful meditative practice.

·      Learn how to befriend the “demon” and transform it into a helpful ally.
