Tuesday Night Meditation Group: Deepening Your Practice and Creating Community

Seven consecutive Tuesdays: Sept. 16, 23, 30, Oct. 7, 14, 21 & 28.

6pm-7:15pm. $95 inclusive.

Rebecca will be offering in-depth teachings from a selected text by a leading teacher and facilitate discussion on how meditation informs, enlivens and brings deeper meaning to life.  For those unable to attend on a Tuesday night, you can register and have direct access to the session recordings. The teachings will be on Falling Into Grace: Insights on the End of Suffering by Adyashanti. Exploring the nature of letting go of struggle, developing inner stability and dropping into open states of spacious conscious awareness. 

·      Strengthening the aiming and sustaining of attention.

·      Specific teachings on developing relaxed, open awareness and states of acceptance.

·      Short weekly reading assignments to facilitate deeper learning and reflection.

·      25-minute guided meditations and emailed recordings for practice at home.

One of the most pervasive and persistent disruptors of our happiness and well-being are our personal Core Negative Beliefs (pCNBs). Our pCNBs are formed in our first few years of life and are heavily reinforced throughout our life. Moreover, they are very resistant to change.

·      Explore the neuroscience of how our core negative beliefs become a significant part of our early conditioning and how major dynamics of our culture reinforce them.

·      Learn a fundamental mindfulness practice that is designed to transform our pCNBs and develop a healthy, true vision of ourselves.

·      Learn to truly rest in your birthright of worthiness.
